Shirley
Yes, I am the culprit of changing the template on this blog. White was getting too boring and it's summer now so I changed it to something coloured =D

Shirley
Why hello hello.
I am finally back from my vacation and convocation. Finally get the time to sit down and update you girls on the fun I have! =P
Although it has been a rough week for My My, I hope you cheer up and remember I'll love you always. There's another angel watching over you.
My first stop was to Orlando. Left right after my sister's convocation, sped to the airport, cursing along the way since it was traffic jam as well and got there JUST in time for my flight. Spent a night there then got on the cruise heading to Nassau, Bahamas!
1st lunch on the cruise - buffet style!
Here's our 1st dinner on the cruise:
Next day we arrived at Nassau and went snorkeling with the fishies! (Underwater pictures haven't been uploaded yet.)
That night was also formal night!
That night we got mad drunk and had a blast.
The next day we headed off to Cococay, Bahamas. This is Royal Caribbean's own private island. Mike and I went jet skiing but unfortunately those were also in the waterproof cam which I haven't uploaded yet.
The next day was the saddest day of all. It was the day we have to depart the cruise and go back to Orlando. Our stateroom attendant I Nenga was the bomb!
We next spent a couple of nights in Orlando. Nothing special really, just chilled and did A LOT of outlet mall shopping. I thought I was going to be crippled at the end of the trip.
These pictures are just teasers of the whole photo album I will be uploading onto Facebook and/or Picasa. Depending on my degree of laziness.
My convocation was today as well and took some pictures. They have been uploaded to Facebook already but I didn't get a chance to put it on this computer where I am typing from thus I can't upload it on this blog. Will do once my laziness subsides. =D
Will let you know on the status of the picture uploading!

Seto
I hate the sun. Makes my skin itchy and drowns out the colour of my photos. I went out to take some convocation pictures for Andy's brother today. We had to walk around downtown cause he couldn't get enough tickets for the whole family. Needless to say, I'm sitting here with itchy skin now.
Since it's the full moon out tonight I decided to take a picture of it.

My fellow ladies.
I kinda forgotten about this blog for a couple of weeks - ever since the last time I commented which was late May. So here I am again!
Lisa, I'm totally loving your pictures. Even though you're telling me you're an amateur, I really can't tell! It's just beautiful. I don't think I have the patience myself to be doing these artistic stuff. Keep it up!
What's up with me? Nothing much. Even though I'm crippled, I've been so busy with Avon lately that I didn't even have the time for me to rest my toe. (No I didn't need surgery, Anne. Just lots and lots of rest) Yup, I didn't listen to the doctor. Almost everyday I have been bumping my toe and hurting it even more. Not the greatest way to help my toe heal faster =S Now that I'm leaving in less than a week, I'm pretty sure I won't be 100% by the time the cruise starts.
What else is new...well the family has officially sold the house on Jones. Date of closing is August 15th - earlier than I have anticipated to move out of this neighbourhood. Totally will be missing it. Thinking about leaving is bringing a tear in my eye. But it was time to go. The house can't accommodate us all any more and it is literally collapsing.
That's it on my end. Will check back regularly & post =)

Wuxia Novels
I'm sure all of you girls know that I love to read. I used to love fantasy and sci-fi novels but as of late I wanted to read Chinese fantasy/martial arts novels. I've started reading some translations of Chinese wuxia novels. I must say the literal translation is horrible! Here's an example:
Wow...
These in-your-face translations of heroic aliases is turning this thing into a comedy for me.
I think it's time to brush up on my Chinese.
So how's everyone's week going so far?
The famous Shen Qinghong, Flying Petals Through The Sky And Descending Without A Sound.

Seto - Cherry Blossoms
I've been in Toronto for practically my whole life and I never went out to enjoy the cherry blossoms at High Park. I decided to change that this year and went out to see them the week after Mother's day weekend with Andy.

Seto - Vancouver
Introducing Spinnaker, Helen and Hanna from the Vancouver Aquarium. Don't ask me who's who cause I don't know! All dolphins look the same to me... :P I DO know that Spinnaker is the male, he was saved from fishing nets off of the western coast. There were scars near his underbelly. The other two were purchased from the Enoshima Aquarium in Japan.
If your eyes are very good, you can see it was raining in the photo. I was trying to Flip and take pictures at the same time. I think on the most part I succeeded. If I had a faster lens the dolphins wouldn't be all blurry. Just goes to show how fast and energetic they were!
P.S. If you click on the picture it'll take you to my Flickr account and you can see other photos there. I'm slowly posting them. There are a couple of self portraits there.

Seto - Self Portrait
Aside from feeling narcissistic, taking pictures of myself taught me many things about myself and about general photo taking.
One of the things that I've learn is that no matter what I'm doing (thinking, concentrating, etc) if I furrow my brow and stare at something my face looks confused! There were many a time in the workplace where I'm staring at my screen thinking hard about something and a coworker would come by and ask why I'm confused. I understand now!
Even though I've been enlightened, I'm not going to do anything about it! :P
