Nothing's up with me lately, except for something that had happened over the weekend. As some of you might know, my ex-aunt have decided to come back to my uncle - after leaving him for 7 years for a douchebag and having a daughter with the douche. So she made the right decision to come back and Vivian, my cousin is super happy with this arrangement as she have been waiting for this day forever.
They've moved here for almost a month now, she haven't slept in the same bed as my uncle as her excuse is that the kid will not sleep on her own. So whatever, fine.
This weekend, the asshole decided to call her and tell her he's going to commit suicide. She makes my uncle drive her ass downtown to the old apartment to look /stop him. Couldn't find him and found out he got admitted to the hospital. She's falling for the jerk's plan.
So now I don't know what's going to happen and Vivian and my uncle is super sad about this whole ordeal.
What makes me mad most is that he treated her like shit for so long that she tried to kill herself twice as well. So don't know why she'd fall for it.
But anyway, that's probably a lot for you girls to take in. I'll just leave it at that.
Going to sleep now. Have a Goodnight!

What is wrong with her? I swear some women are born with a dysfunctional to the brain. They like being hurt and it's like a drug to them... Keep going back for more. Your uncle is way too nice for taking her back AND then drive her to go see him! I feel for Vivian though, she'll always be the center of this drama. When all she wanted was to be united with both of her parents. I'm still mad for your uncle!!

When women are in abusive relationships they go into denial to protect themselves and justify their choice, after all, no one wants to be told they've made the wrong choice. So from a psychological perspective, I can understand. At the same time it is very frustrating for the family as well. Patience is key. I hope everything works out for Vivian's sake. It's very sad when children are caught up in the adults' problems.
